Bingo Cards

The most popular variation of bingo cards you will come across online is the 5×5 grid that is standard for 75-ball bingo games. 75-ball means that the numbers you will find on your card and in the tumbler are the numbers 1 up to and including 75. The 5×5 bingo card is usually a square card at the top of which, each letter heading one of the five columns, is the word BINGO.

Card Variations

Bingo operators may also throw in some card variations to keep the game interesting. One such variation is the card pattern. A pattern is marked on the card in a different colour from the card itself. This pattern could be a simple line, but sometimes they also come in specific shapes, such as a heart, a kite, or a letter. If you are the first to daub all the numbers that make up part of the pattern you will win a prize. Often the game is then continued until someone gets bingo, so you are in the running for two prizes.

Patterns are fun! They are shown in a different color on your bingo cards.
