How do the patterns on bingo cards work?
In bingo you can win a prize for being the first to mark all of the numbers on your card, but there are also other ways to win, by checking the boxes in a certain pattern for instance. The patterns usually differ depending on whether you're playing 75-ball or 90-ball bingo.
75-ball bingo patterns
On the 75-ball bingo card the patterns can be a simple line, or more complicated themed patterns, for instance a butterfly. The boxes that make up the pattern will usually be highlighted in a different colour on the card, or indicated on a blank card template on your screen. Often the numbers than make up part of the pattern will also be daubed in a different colour using auto-daub. The aim is to be the first to get all the numbers that make up part of the pattern.
90-ball bingo patterns
In 90-ball bingo the usual pattern variations are one line, two line and Full House. Full House is the full card, one line is getting the numbers in one, and two lines is getting all the numbers in two horizontal lines on your card.
