Bingo Rules
The rules of online bingo are simple, and much of the game runs automatically. Once you have chosen a room to play in and have purchased your cards, the game begins. The default setting is for auto-daub to mark your cards automatically. This means that you will never miss a number called. Winners are also automatically announced. This allows players to focus on chatting to the other players in the room, since the chat is an important part of online bingo.
Every online bingo game has a display board for the called bingo numbers.
Bingo Cards
There are many different types of bingo cards, and these may differ per operator and per game. There are cards in all kinds of different price ranges, and different ways to mark the cards. Some will need to be filled in completely to win, other times you can win by getting one line filled in completely. Other games will include a bonus prize for filling in a certain shape marked on the card. To read more about bingo cards, go to our Bingo Cards section or our Frequently Asked Questions page on Bingo Cards.
Card Limits
Because the cards are blotted automatically, you can play multiple cards at the same time. Many bingo operators will limit the amount of cards you're allowed to play at once, however. This is to prevent high rollers from buying up so many cards that other players won't stand much of a chance. By imposing a card limit, everybody gets a fair chance to win.
Bingo Chat
The chat window is an important part of online bingo. Unlike in bingo halls, chatting during the game is actively encouraged. The bingo chat has its own rules and etiquette, about which you can read all you need to know on our bingo chat page.
